FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, delivery is available for an additional fee based on mileage and time.  Delivery is required on all tiered cakes over 3 tiers.

 Is shipping available?

I operate under the Texas Food Cottage Law which prevents me from shipping any products.  Cookies ship well when properly wrapped.  If you are interested in shipping them yourself, I will be happy to teach you how to do it!

How early do I need to place my order?

It’s best to place your order as early as possible.  Some months/weeks fill up more quickly than others (holiday months, May/June).  Orders placed within ten days of date needed may be able to be filled but will incur a late order fee.  Cookies require drying time and cannot be ordered within four days of date needed.

 Can you duplicate specific pictures?

I’m more than happy to use whatever you have for inspiration (invitations, table décor, pictures of other cakes, etc.)  Out of respect for other bakers and my own creativity, I do not duplicate other work exactly.  I don’t even like to duplicate my own work (but I will).  It’s best for your special day to have a “one of a kind” creation!

Please be aware that many times your theme is based on popular characters, TV shows, movies, books, etc. Those characters and logos are protected from duplication by copyright law.  A wonderful work of art can still be created using coordinating colors, decorative elements and items such as licensed toys or cake toppers.

At the time your order is placed, we will agree on certain details: flavor, number of servings, colors, writing (check spellings and numbers carefully) and overall design.  Part of the creative process happens while the cake is being decorated so some elements will be designed and created during that time.  This is to make sure you end up with the perfect creation for your event!

 Is a deposit required?

Yes.  Once an order has been finalized and all details are approved, a 50% deposit is required to hold the order.

What happens if I need to cancel my order or change the date?

I know that life happens and sometimes an event has to be cancelled or changed.  For that reason, I will do everything I can to work with you.  But because shopping, planning and preparation begins at the time your order is placed, there is a cancellation policy.  Orders cancelled within 14 days are subject to forfeiture of deposit.  Orders cancelled within 72 hours will require payment in full.

 Do you take credit cards?

Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card invoicing or PayPal invoicing.
